The building is 100 years old and is a registered monument. It has five floors, 12 apartments and no elevator. It is located on a quiet street with a tasty pizzeria on the ground floor. The apartment is on the second floor and it was renovated in 2005. It is tastefully decorated with modern conveniences. The local market is just down the street as are numerous coffee shops, banks, retail stores and eateries. Buses and the metro are within a 10 to 20 minutes walk away. The lovely stroll along the Passeig de Gracia to Placa Catalunya begins a few blocks away.

It's 55m2 design sleeps up to four people. There are twin beds in the bedroom, which can be combined to form a king size bed or separated for individual use. There are luxurious duvets for those cooler evenings and a remote controlled ceiling fan for a breezier night.

The sofa pulls out to a very comfortable double bed. There is a television with local stations and a DvD player and movie rental card for those stay-at-home nights. 

Of course, watching the locals while sipping a cava from the balcony is also entertaining!

There is a modern, automated kitchen featuring a microwave/oven combi, a ceramic cooking top and a dishwasher. It is fully equipped with glassware, pots and pans and cork screws! There is a full size, Miele washer and dryer.

The bathroom is completely new and boasts a wooden countertop, plush towels, a bathrobe and a blow dyer.

The rainshower is thermostat controlled and has great water pressure!

The toilet is located seperately from the bathroom and has a mini sink.

The dining room has an extendable table and is euipped with all the plates and servingware you will need.  The apartment has a telephone for local calls, but no internet connection.There are several internet cafes and wireless hot spots nearby.
